How My Garden Grows

Welcome to my garden, the 2016 edition.

As every gardener knows, our landscape changes over time. My two recently acquired vintage cherubs beckoned me to photograph them this morning, calling me outdoors at 6:30am! I assembled a slideshow to share my private sanctuary with you, my friends.

The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul in drought and strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail (Isaiah 58:11 NKJV).

You who dwell in the gardens, the companions listen for your voice— Let me hear it! (Song of Solomon 8:13 NKJV).

For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody (Isaiah 51:3 NKJV).

I pray you find enjoyment, delight, inspiration and serenity in these photographs. Of course, I’d love to hear your thoughts, so feel free to comment.

  1. Very creative slideshow! I like the bench scene at the beginning. Excellent word choices to describe all of the flowers. My favorites are the ‘vintage’ poem and statute and all of the rhyming words with the spider photo. Who’s the writer, huh, who’s the writer?? You are!
