The Mike Bickle Red Wine Dream
This dream occurred 7/23/18, twenty-eight days after the bicycle dream. Mike Bickle was dressed casually while holding a bottle of red wine. He jumps into a transport vehicle of some sort next to me. A bunch of us are headed to a bar in Newport we’ve never been to. The mood is celebratory and joyous.
My interpretation of this dream is that the Newport location refers to a new port or a new kind of wine. A new manifestation of Jesus Christ none of us have seen before. In John 2:3 at the Cana wedding, the wine served last was described as “the good wine.” Newport can be a new place in the spirit to drink new wine; the new wine representing “a new move of God” that His Church has been awaiting for years.
A bar can mean the Church, the communal place where we drink of the Spirit. I sense that in this dream, the bar refers to drinking of the new wine of God’s Spirit in a community setting outside the typical four walls of church venue. It speaks of a move of God out among people, not inside a church. In the negative, a bar represents worldly ways and a gathering place for darkness lovers. But since the tone of this dream was joyous and celebratory and in color, I know the bar does not have a negative connotation.
In the Bible, new wine is poured into new wineskins, not old ones (Matthew 9:17 NKJV). This coming move of God won’t look the same as previous waves of His Spirit. We have heard this said many times, but the Lord is repeating it in 2018 as a reminder. Scripture refers to wine as both Holy Spirit (see Matthew 9:17 and John 2:3) and joy (see Psalm 4:7, Psalm 104:15 and Isaiah 16:10).
Purple Glass Wine Decanter Dream
My husband, Bill had the following dream two weeks later, the first week of August. He saw a wine decanter set out on a table, made of purple glass with silver letters “K.L.” engraved on it. Seems a simple enough scene, but when viewed together with the new port dream, the meaning is enhanced.
While God is saying that I am a wine decanter made of purple glass, this applies to all of us. I believe that these two dreams paint a prophetic map of how Jesus sees us. It is His invitation calling us to carry the anointing of this new port He will pour out in the coming days. Let’s dig deeper into specific dream symbolism for hidden treasure.
A wine decanter is set out on display as an ornamental glass bottle used for serving wine, so we know this points to interaction with people. God is communicating the time for hiding our light, power, and anointing is over. The top is open so the wine can breathe. New wineskins are breathable and open or they will burst. Personally, I must release my words or it feels as if I will burst. Aerating wine is meant to mimic the effects of swirling the wine glass to stimulate the oxidation processes which triggers the release of more aromatic compounds. Aeration is thought to benefit the wine by smoothing some of the harsher aspects of the wine (like tannins) but is subject to debate among wine experts. For spiritual purposes, to be open and pliable to the breath of Holy Spirit upon us, responding to the very breath of God as He whispers instructions triggers release of the fragrance of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22).
Decanters, which have a varied shape and design, have been traditionally made from glass or crystal, though after the fall of the Western Roman Empire, glass became scarce causing the majority of decanters to be made of bronze, silver, gold or earthenware. The Venetians reintroduced glass decanters during the Renaissance period and pioneered the style of a long slender neck that opens to a wide body, increasing the exposed surface area of the wine, allowing it to react with air. In the 1730s, British glass makers introduced the stopper to limit exposure to air. Since then, there has been little change to the basic design of the decanter.
Purple is a color signifying royalty, reaffirming that we are each royal vessels, a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9 AMPC). But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Prophetic voice Bobby Conner wrote in his 2018 Shepherd’s Rod that the color this year was purple, reflecting the royal robes of the Saints. Jesus told Bobby that “many are coming into their royal priesthood, they are grasping the truth of Revelation 1:5-6.”
Mentioned fifty-three times in the Bible, purple signifies wealth, status, authority, kingship, ruling, nobility, and majesty. Because purple dye was difficult to manufacture, it was expensive in ancient times. A mixture of blue and red, blue speaks of revelation, while red speaks of redemption. We know from history, both biblical and secular, that purple is the color most often associated with royalty. In ancient Israel, purple was the color of the tabernacle curtain, the veil, the High Priest’s ephod, girdle, breastplate and even the hem of the priest’s robe.
Decanting Process
Decanters have been used for serving wines that are laden with sediments in the original bottle. Liquid from another vessel is poured into the decanter in order to separate liquid, containing the sediment from a larger volume of “clear” liquid, which is free of such. The sediment is left in the original vessel, and the clear liquid is transferred to the decanter just before serving. These sediments could be the result of a very old wine or one that was not filtered or clarified during the winemaking process. In most modern winemaking, the need to decant for this purpose has been significantly reduced, because many wines no longer produce a significant amount of sediment as they age. [ii] Why is this important? Because the Lord is presenting His new wine to the world now, wine without impurities (sediment) for the purpose of performing miracles outside the church to bring glory to Jesus and reveal that He is real.

Preparing the wineskins…WOW!! I started researching how the hide is prepared and related each part to how God prepares us to be new wineskins. It certainly explains what I see going on in the church today. We tend to think the New Wine is just going to be poured out and all will be glorious but we often neglect the process in our own hearts to be made ready, to be cleansed, softened, stretched, shaped, water proofed on the inside just to be formed. Then to be heated in the fire of God, rubbed with oil, rinsed with water and then filled with wine only to be discarded. Those ministries, those accomplishments all discarded so we can become a vessel for the New Wine of the Holy Spirit, the best wine as in Cana, the outpouring of the Spirit as in Joel 2

I knew you would catch that part. That process spoke to me, too. But the process is SO worth it, right?
