My dreams have changed since Passover in April of this year, indicating a new spiritual season in God’s timing.
Anyone who follows my writing knows that I am one small prophetic voice among many, but I know how God speaks to me. I am a seer-dreamer, receiving revelation through the mystical realm of visions, dreams, and pictures rather than receiving auditorily. I “hear” from God visually, seeing things in abstract symbolic forms. Then I have to interpret the images using prayer, researching Scriptures that confirm the meaning of that element, and put it all together. Sometimes a dream comes together easily, other times I get only a part. Sometimes I get nothing, so I shelve it for a later date.
Until this year, my dreams were all messages intended solely for me, correcting me, guiding me, encouraging me, etc. My dreams now take two forms: 1) guidance for immediate topics in need of intercession and 2) messages to share with the Body of Christ. It’s taken eighteen years to get here. Today’s dream is for us all, men and women alike, warning us to be prepared for HIs return and how to do that.
Dream backdrop: I was part of a bridal party; a bridesmaid. The wedding was only hours away.
I saw myself conversing with a woman on the topic of being a woman of God, telling her we have to put on a dress and heels every once in a while and walk with our shoulders back and head held high like the women of God we were recreated in Christ Jesus to be.
We need to walk like daughters of the King.
I told her in the dream … we must start our days with Him, in His presence … ALLOWING HIM TO SING HIS SONG OF GRACE OVER US.
I hear someone singing over me, a song specifically for me. There were no words. It was a melody.
It wasn’t any song. It was HIS SONG.
WHAT IS GOD SAYING?
In these final hours before Jesus returns for THE WEDDING of all weddings, the big splurge party of the ages a/k/a The Marriage Supper of the Lamb … oh that we each would hear the God of the universe singing over us.
“The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One will save (you);
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
WHAT IS HE SINGING?

Is God singing songs of judgment or wrath? NO!
He is singing His song of grace over us, telling us that through His son, Jesus, we have been granted a reprieve. Our sins deserve judgment, but the price for our sin has been paid by Jesus’ sacrificial death on Calvary. Pure blood has already been shed- we are now offered clemency … IF … we are found in Christ Jesus.
The dream communicates that we must allow Him to sing His song of GRACE over us.
WHAT IS GRACE?
Grace in this context refers to the character of God rather than the physical attribute of being graceful, charming, or affable. Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary defines grace as:
a) unmerited divine assistance given to man for his regeneration or sanctification;
b) a virtue coming from God;
c) a short prayer at a meal giving thanks or asking a blessing;
d) an act of kindness or clemency
e) a reprieve.
We cannot earn grace. It’s an act of clemency; God grants all mankind a reprieve from judgment. He grants us an embrace rather than a slap.
Connected to this song of grace is the realization from Song of Solomon 7:10 NASB: “I am my beloved’s and His desire is for me.”
To quote Brennan Manning in The Furious Longing of God, “When you take SOS 7:10 personally, several beautiful things come to pass:
- The drumbeats of doom in your head will be replaced by a song in your heart, which could lead to a twinkle in your eye.
- You will not be dependent on the company of others to ease your loneliness, for He is Emmanuel- God with us.
- You will live with an awareness that the Father not only loves you, but likes you (big for me).
- You will stop comparing yourself to others, trumpeting your victories, or feeling superior to anyone.
- You will read Zephaniah 3:17-18 and see God dancing for joy because of you.
- Off and on throughout the day, you will know you are viewed by Jesus with a gaze of infinite tenderness.”
You do not want to miss Part 2 – God Still Calls Us Near, where I complete the interpretation by digging deeper into the meaning of the dress and heels. I’ll give you a hint- they refer to being fully arrayed in Christ. It’s not a message exclusive to women, nor a message endorsing men to wear dresses and women’s shoes. It’s a message to dress spiritually and put on the attributes of Christ. I warn you, it’s GREAT because God gave me a revelation about clothing I did not know.
Y’all come back now, ya hear?
