My secondary goal is to help you thrive in the presence of God. Through the varied seasons of my forty-year sojourn with Jesus, it has never been boring! Whether in private prayer or corporately with other saints, prayer is my greatest pleasure, deepest release and reliably energizing. God earnestly desires our spiritual life to be a green, thriving place where we enthusiastically obey the Lord. The Hebrew word for enthusiasm means to awaken, to arouse from sleep and to ‘spark a little fire within’. I believe our Lord wants to light His people up like a sparkler that stays lit. No fizzling out.
