Jesus, it’s me
Calling out for mercy
Needing to feel your grace, again!
Separating the lies from truth,
Your truth. You are truth!
Stumbling keeps me mindful
of how desperately I need you,
your mercy, your grace.
Though my offenses are as scarlet,
You make them white as snow.
My sin stains testify of your mercy once again.
A gentle whisper reminds me,
“All the devil sees is Jesus’ crimson blood.”
Oh the blood of Jesus … purifies once more.
Help me extend grace and mercy
just as I have received them.

Very heartfelt poem and wings graphix. You are trying new things and I think it works (shouldn’t we get around to repainting those wings though?)

Thanks! Yes, but had we done so, I’d have missed the deeper truth the Spirit whispered today.
